TBScience 2020 Programme Selection: Review System

The TBScience 2020 Scientific Committee will base their programme selection decisions upon the following review criteria:

Abstract Review System

Topics to be scored Description Scoring (1-5)
  1. Novelty/ Originality
The abstract shows novel/original information, or presents a new topic or application in the TBScience field; 1=very poor;
2=poor;
3=average;
4=above average;
5=excellent
  1. Clarity
The abstract is written in a clear and concise way and has a good structure; 1=very poor;
2=poor;
3=average;
4=above average;
5=excellent
3. Significance/ impact/ relevance to the TBScience field The abstract describes research results/new findings, methods or approaches to TBScience diagnostics, drug development, bacterial fitness or vaccinations that is significant/has impact/relevance to the TBScience field 1=very poor;
2=poor;
3=average;
4=above average;
5=excellent
4. Quality of the methodology The methods presented in the abstract are of high quality 1=very poor;
2=poor;
3=average;
4=above average;
5=excellent
